What is Youth Dance Tynedale (YDT)?

YDT is a contemporary dance training programme for people aged 3-19. It offers young people the chance to work with professional dance artists and have regular performance opportunities

How has YDT grown? 

YDT has built strong links with professional choreographers and dance companies. These links have enabled YDT students to perform curtain raisers and attend workshops with contemporary dance companies who tour in Hexham

How have the students progressed?

YDT students have gone on to train at Dance City, Laban and Northern School of Contemporary Dance
