Since Our Last Shoot, How Has Your Dance Journey Progressed?

Since our last shoot, I have been auditioning at different colleges to further my training. Many accepted me, but I decided to join Performers College, which I start in September.

Have You Done Anything Exciting?

Auditioning has been my main focus for this year and coupled with the government lockdown I haven’t been able to partake in many exciting experiences recently. I have, however, began rehearsals to dance at Disneyland Paris again in April 2021.

How Have You Found Lockdown? What Are the Negative and Positive Impacts?

I have found the lockdown difficult, especially when trying to continue my dancing as I don’t have a lot of space in my house. My dining room has become my dance studio, and our dining table is currently in the living room. Despite this, lockdown has been great for trying new skills such as baking and art. It has also been lovely to spend more time with my family.

What Have You Missed the Most Due to Lockdown?

I have missed seeing my friends from dancing. It was a huge shock to go from seeing people every day to absolutely nothing, and I can’t wait to see everyone again, in person. It has also been difficult not to be able to dance full out as I can’t jump or leap without hitting my ceiling at home! I’m counting down the days until I can get back to doing what I love.

Did You Enjoy Working With Paul Again?

I loved working with Paul again as it gave me a chance to dance full out again. Paul makes the shoots so relaxed, and I feel like I can express myself and feel liberated. I love creativity in trying new positions and angles to get the best photo possible.

Do You Have Anything Exciting Coming Up?

I’m very excited to start my new journey in September. I will be moving to Essex to continue my dance education and begin learning and developing as a musical theatre performer. I will also be dancing in Disneyland once more, fingers crossed, in April.

I’m looking forward to this as it will be an opportunity for me to see my dance family again.
